Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) Management

Throughout a broad range of our activities and activities provided by our partners, it is generated an important number of Intellectual Property assets that need appropriate protection and exploitation. Whatever type of intellectual property, whether it is a patent, a confidential information or know-how, a trademark, a copyright or a design right, we have the skills and capabilities to efficiently manage its protection, maintenance, or exploitation.

Managing intellectual property assets of a company is a value-creating activity. Used in the correct way it creates revenue for the company, adds value to a technology or product on the market, and increases global market share or market exclusivity. Failing to manage IP only adds additional expense, which can be extensive.

In Collaborative research in European Union, it is mandatory to demonstrate in detail how the IPR will be dealt with by the consortium during the planning, execution and exploitation stages. The consortium must describe who is responsible for the IPR management and which rights all partners will have. To avoid misunderstanding, it is important to make clear the rights and obligations of all partners to IPR. That is our role.

We provide the advice and support to our partners in protecting their IP assets, and bring our expertise whenever IP issues are discussed in negotiations or in contracting.
